Maia and McQueen

Yesterday I went to Glasgow which is always a lot of fun. First, my old housemate and I went to our favourite hang-out called Maia on Buchanan Street. It is part gift shop, part ice-cream parlor, part cute cafe. It's about as girly as it gets and the staff are so lovely. You HAVE to go there and eat the yummiest cupcakes ever made.

When shopping I bought lots of pretty presents for my friends' birthdays and also in Urban Outfitters I bought a fantastic new book: Alexander McQueen, Genius of a Generation by Kirstin Knox. It documents his whole career and the incredible work he created with lots of catwalk pictures. This book is a great reminder of one of my favourite designers which I'll treasure forever.
