Lou Lou's Xmas Gift Guide

I'm about half-way through my Christmas shopping so far and I've loved the feeling of finding the perfect presents for my friends and family. If you're still looking for a gift that will make you the best secret santa of all time, or just generally a very thoughtful friend, I have come up with some suggestions for you!

For the make-up addict friend...

Alexa For Eyeko Limited Edition 'Eye Do' Set - ASOS
Let's face it - Alexa Chung perfects the feline flick like no other, so it makes total sense that she has collaborated with with beauty brand Eyeko. The kit includes waterproof eyeliner and mascara, plus a poster designed by Alexa herself!

Best of Kit - Topshop

As Edinburgh's Topshop make-up specialist, I would recommend the Best of Kit, as it is packed full of some fabulous best-sellers. The glow pot makes your face look radiant, and the smokey eye palette helps create alluring eyes for partying over Christmas and New Year.

For the vintage lover friend...

The Great Gatsby DVD - Amazon

This year was all about celebrating the 1920's era thanks to Baz Luhrman's adaptation of The Great Gatsby. I got the novel for Christmas last year (which I read in about two days!) and this year I've added the film to my Christmas list!

Vouchers for a vintage make-over - Miss Dixibelle

Vintage lovers living in Scotland will probably know of Miss Dixibelle boutique in Bruntsfield, Edinburgh. They not only sell fab fifties frocks, but they also do your hair and make-up in the style of your favourite decade from the twenties to the sixties.

For the fashion obsessed friend...

Heart-shaped keyring - Mulberry
There are a few designers who are on top of every girl's wish-lists and I guarantee that Mulberry is one of them. Splashing out on one of their iconic handbags for your friend may not be an option, however this keyring is £70, so maybe you could spoil your sister this Christmas!

Paris Street Style book - Urban Outfitters

If you think your friend is always looking oh so chic, she will undoubtably admire Parisians' immaculate outfits. This book is filled with street style photography and interviews with French fashion designers, stylists and editors. Ooh la la!

I hope this gift guide has inspired you to finish your Christmas shopping or perhaps you've already added one of these items to your own Christmas list!
