Best of Warehouse S/S 11

My hometown of Edinburgh has had more snow overnight, however since receiving the new issue of Elle yesterday, I have been yearning for what's in store for Spring/Summer this year. I cannot wait to see shops full of cobalt blue, grass green, acid pink and violet. Beautiful! I'm also looking forward to seeing bold prints everywhere. All the polar opposite to my dark wooly winter wardrobe. One high-street store that will be pulling me in for some colourful prints is Warehouse. I have picked out my favourite looks from three of their strongest collections. The items are not yet available to purchase but here's a sneeky peek for you!

Today I thought I would share with you some of the latest looks I've created on Looklet.com. In my opinion it is one of the best websites ever created (see this post if you don't already know about it). It's also the closest thing I've got to Cher's virtual wardrobe in Clueless! 

The Looklet team asked me a while ago if I could create a look for their magazine part of the website, which was to be inspired by model Liya Kebede. It was loads of fun to research and I would definitely do it again with other inspirations. I hope you like the styles I've created, let me know what you think!

Happy 2011!

HAPPY NEW YEAR! Hope you all enjoyed your night out. I celebrated mine with old high school friends at a bar and wore this dress above which my dad calls my Queen Victoria dress! Can't write much as I'm feeling awful. Actually feels more like the flu than a hangover :-S 
Anyways, this year I hope my blog continues to grow with more posts, hits, followers and comments. Thanks to everyone who reads my blog regularly.

Digital prints have been appearing on many catwalks since Basso & Brooke created a digital print collection in 2004. The technique is achieved by using state-of-the-art computer programs to create designs, which are then printed onto the selected fabric using an ink-jet printer. It is a cost effective way of producing detailed garments so it is popular with emerging designers. These include Mary Katrantzou and Holly Fulton who have used the digital printing technique for their S/S 2011 collections. High street stores such as Topshop and Oasis offer more affordable alternatives. I really love digital prints as they look ultra-modern and fun. It appears to be not just a passing trend but fashion of the future!
