The September Issues 2014

The September issues of glossy magazines are known to be the thickest issue of the year, packed with editorials that show us the next season's trends. This September, British Vogue and Harpers Bazaar are the biggest September issues they have ever published. Whether you're a magazine addict like me or not, now is definitely the time to indulge in any of these iconic magazines below.

Vogue went for the perfect choice of cover girl, Cara Delevingne, who is the face of Topshop's new Autumn/Winter range, as well as fronting many designer campaigns. Her editorial has been shot by Mario Testino, who photographed another shoot in the magazine, featuring model Freja Beha Erichsen in the abstract art influenced trend. Other fashion editorials feature next season's take on beautiful embellishment and retro looking pieces.
As for interesting interviews, Naomi Campbell opens up about her 30 years of being one of the world's most famous supermodels. Plus Luella Bartley and Katie Hillier tell us about taking over Marc by Marc Jacobs.

Model of the moment, Kate Upton is the star of Elle's September issue. She has been asked 50 questions covering her childhood, being a curvy model, and all sorts of personal questions that help us get to know this American babe.
I love that Elle featured a high-street edit, so that we could not only see the trends set by designers, but also what we can actually afford to buy.
Elle's other photoshoots feature brilliantly styled parka jackets, monochrome tailoring and my favourite of all - sixties beatnik styles.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley looks as flawless as ever on the September issue of Harpers Bazaar. This is definitely my favourite cover of the three, and although I'm yet to buy this issue, I've recently subscribed to the magazine (in addition to my Elle subscription).
As well as an interview with the Devon-born model and lingerie designer,  we can read all about the busy lives of fashion's favourite twins Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen.
Carine Roitfeld (former Paris Vogue Editor-in-Cheif) makes an amazing contribution to this issue by styling her favourite icons from Lady Gaga to Penelope Cruz. The trends featured in the magazine include sixties style and fairytale glamour. I can't wait to get my hands on this issue!

I hope this summery has helped you decide which September issue you would like the most. Let me know what you think once you've flicked through them!
